“Sheldon was so encouraging! It was great for both the kids and staff to see someone who has a disability defy the world’s thinking and bring forth an inspiring message of hope. So many of us would think that a speaker who can’t speak wouldn’t be able to make a big impact, but Sheldon was able to reach us all in a truly unimaginable way. He showed us that God uses us all. Sheldon presented in all of the Health classes at Branton School. His presentation is on acceptance, hope and disabilities. Sheldon has a way of making the students feel comfortable, valued and accepted. I think this would be great for all students to experience. Sheldon is very genuine, sincere and open. This is an opportunity for your students to hear from someone who is willing to talk about his disability, share his struggles and provide hope with what has helped him to move forward. I have had many guest speakers in my classes and I am completely amazed at how the students responded to Sheldon. I highly recommend Sheldon for any school.
